The doumo in Milan completely took my breath away! When we were here in 2003 it was under renovation and the whole church was covered up in tarp and we weren’t allowed to go inside. This time thankfully we were able to see ALL of it.
This is on one of the massive doors on the outside of the church. The detail is mind blowing!
The inside of the church is just as beautiful - it took my breath away and I would have spent HOURS there if we had the time
I loved seeing how many Italians (even the older ones) drive their bikes around.
